Rogers State University has reviewed the following established scholarships and wish to make students aware of them. RSU is not affiliated with any of these foundations and in no way endorse these scholarships. Be aware of any scholarship that requires an application fee.
Native American Tribes:
- Cherokee Nation (Cherokee citizens can log in to the Gadugi Portal, click on Applications in top menu, then select Scholarship Application)
- Cherokee Nation Foundation
- Chahta Foundation Scholarship (Choctaw Nation)
Out-of-State Tuition Waivers:
Waivers are awarded by the Office of Financial Aid and are available to all out-of-state and international undergraduate and graduate students. The waiver covers the out-of-state portion of the tuition charged and is credited on the student billing statement bringing tuition charges down to the in-state tuition amount. Undergraduate students must maintain a 2.5 GPA each semester and graduate students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to remain eligible for the waiver. There is no application needed for this waiver. Students taking fully online courses may also be eligible for this waiver.
Students 65 or Older:
Oklahoma residents over the age of 65 who wish to audit courses can apply for a tuition only waiver for up to 7 hours in fall/spring semester and up to 4 hours in summer semester. Apply in person.
